
The On-Device Portals (ODP) are client/server based mobile applications, that provide easy and personalized offline access to preloaded content, and a dynamic user interface for delivering rich media content. The subscriber enjoys better services usage experience with faster offline navigation, quicker browsing through headlines and banners as well as few-click content download, all with a richer graphical interface on his handset device. From the operator side, ODP are perceived as incentive on traffic generation and efficient data traffic boosting services. Moreover, they offer windows to push new Value Added Services to mobile users. ODP experience can be compared to windows-shopping experience; where the user can go through the content windows and shop only when interested.
The ODP service is offered in 3 versions, which may be activated separately or in combination:
